These new MicroCloud solutions are built on AMD Ryzen™ 7000 Series, “Zen 4” core architecture, which has a max boost speed of up to 5.7 GHz, including PCIe 5.0 support, DDR5-5200 MHz, and up to 16 cores (32 threads) per CPU. All use cases benefit from this, SuperMicro is targeting general performance with this new MicroCloud.

Intel Raptor Lake Refresh processors coming in Q4

Intel will release its updated Raptor Lake CPUs in October. According to a wide range of sources, these chips will be marketed as the 14th-gen Core series. Given the pressure Intel is getting from AMD on CPU performance, we can expect similar increases to normal updates and refreshes, pushing the boundary with clock speed, core counts and maybe more.
