We’ve got used to leakers giving reliable information about future CPU releases and we’re here once again.

Intel will apparently release its updated Raptor Lake CPUs in October. Take that date with a grain of salt but it’s normally fairly accurate. According to a wide range of leakers, these will be marketed as the 14th-gen Core series.

Given the pressure Intel is getting from AMD on CPU performance, we can expect similar increases to normal updates and refreshes, pushing the boundary with clock speed, core counts and maybe some other small tweaks.
