NVIDIA announces a $599 RTX 4070, Available from April 13th

The RTX 4070 is finally here and it looks like another powerhouse from NVIDIA. At an affordable price point of $599 - the Founders Edition of this card is now available for early adopters.

There are some significant highlights, generally for the consumer but there are some features about this new card that could be quietly useful in the enterprise space. This is the first card that comes at a size that fits in most environments, unlike some of the prior generations.

Built on a brand new architecture, launched only last year, the Ada Lovelace architecture - this card comes with 12GB of GDDR6X VRAM.

Good news for streamers: the card also includes support for the AV1 codec. YouTube is launching its AV1 livestreaming very shortly and this gets you native support to stream on YouTube.

With the current power costs, there is good news: this card has a lower power draw than the RTX 3080 - a welcome feature given our current energy market.

As a preferred NVIDIA partner, we are happy to help you deploy the new RTX 4070 - get in touch today to discuss your requirements.
