SuperMicro releases Eight-socket and Four-socket servers for the most demanding Enterprise workloads

The new eight-socket server is “ideal for in-memory databases requiring up to 480 cores and 32TB of DDR5 memory for maximum performance”.

While the four-socket server, is “ideal for applications that require a single system image of up to 240 cores and 16TB of high-speed memory.”

Each of these servers features 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors. The high-end 6U server can accommodate 12 x H100 GPUs. The latest range of servers establishes Supermicro as a major boundary-pusher in the GPU industry.
