Intel Raptor Lake processors are Intel’s answer to the recently released AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs. The high-end Ryzen 7950x has 16 cores and 32 threads with a maximum clock speed of 5.7Ghz. This is an incredible performance boost compared to the market today.

AMD finally announced the new line of Ryzen 7000 processors on August 29th. This is a very exciting development for AMD and for the general GPU market. They’ll be available on September 27th. We’re starting to see more and more information regarding Intel Raptor Lake appear, including SKUs. Hardware leakers have has managed to release an apparent screenshot from Amazon UK, which had some valuable information regarding the upcoming CPUs.

With AMD fans on the edge of their chairs for the new Zen 4 based processors, we can see from recent comments from AMD that the timeline for the new Ryzen 7000 processors is getting closer. 

AMD is launching the Zen 4 Ryzen 7000 processors later in the year and it’s heating up the workstation market. We saw the battle for processor dominance with the last edition of Ryzen 5000 series processors vs Intel Rocket Lake and now the main manufacturers are heading for another contest.
