AMD Future Server CPU Roadmap

AMD's future roadmap for server CPUs looks something like this, note, all these are subject to change but as a baseline:

Genoa (Zen 4): This is the current generation of AMD server CPUs, which were released in 2022. Genoa CPUs are based on the Zen 4 microarchitecture and offer up to 96 cores and 1,920 threads.

Bergamo (Zen 5): This is the next generation of AMD server CPUs, which is expected to be released in 2023. Bergamo CPUs will be based on the Zen 5 microarchitecture and offer up to 128 cores and 3,840 threads.

Genoa-X (Zen 4): This is a high-end variant of the Genoa CPU, which is expected to be released in 2023. Genoa-X CPUs will be based on the Zen 4 microarchitecture and offer up to 160 cores and 4,800 threads.

Dragonfly (Zen 6): This is the third generation of AMD server CPUs, which is expected to be released in 2024. Dragonfly CPUs will be based on the Zen 6 microarchitecture and offer up to 256 cores and 7,680 threads.
