AMD has a roadmap that is aggressive for AI. 
NVIDIA is the market leader, without doubt, but AMD, like normal, continues to work to place itself as a premier manufacturer in the space. 
While not the full roadmap, here is what is known publicly about some elements of the AI roadmap:

2023

  • Launch of AMD Instinct MI300 series accelerators

  • Introduction of new AMD EPYC processors with integrated AI accelerators

  • Continued development of AMD Radeon Pro graphics cards for AI workloads

2024

  • Launch of AMD Instinct MI400 series accelerators

  • Introduction of new AMD EPYC processors with more powerful integrated AI accelerators

  • Continued development of AMD Radeon Pro graphics cards for AI workloads

2025

  • Launch of AMD Instinct MI500 series accelerators

  • Introduction of new AMD EPYC processors with even more powerful integrated AI accelerators

  • Continued development of AMD Radeon Pro graphics cards for AI workloads

Beyond 2025

  • AMD plans to continue to invest in AI research and development, and to bring new and innovative AI solutions to market.
