AMD is launching the Zen 4 Ryzen 7000 processors later in the year and it’s heating up the workstation market. We saw the battle for processor dominance with the last edition of Ryzen 5000 series processors vs Intel Rocket Lake and now the main manufacturers are heading for another contest.

AMD has launched the Ryzen 6000 CPUs earlier on in 2022 and has been pushing the boundaries for many years now as they close the gap on Intel’s market share.

Zen 4, the 5nm CPU microarchitecture will presumably put up clock speeds that AMD has never had before. We know that the updated release date for Ryzen 7000 processors which was provided by the AMD CEO at Computex is Q3 2022. The pricing information is not available but we do know that Intel is trying to spice up the market with the attractive pricing of Alder Lake processors.

We’re expecting to see over 10% performance increase like-for-like and are starting to prepare our workstation specifications for the Ryzen 7000 processors.
