POWER EFFICIENCY DELIVERED

Ampere’s power design, supported by the 7nm process technology, enables Ampere’s latest line to deliver more cores than any other data center processor. This leads to a significant amount of extra cores per rack over today’s existing technology. Supported by great management capabilities with Advanced Configuration Power Interface and other tools, Ampere delivers greater power performance.

With so many use cases requiring multiple, concurrent jobs with consistent performance and predictable energy consumption, Ampere’s Altra allows companies from AI to Cloud Service Providers to get greater performance per unit measured than any other datacenter processor.

PCIe Gen 4 & 128 PCIe lane processor

With 128 lanes of PCIe Gen4 per socket and support for up to 192 PCIe Gen4 lanes in a dual-processor configuration, including support for networking cards processing over 200GbE or more, big data and large network workloads are well suited by Ampere’s Altra processor. Ampere’s Altra max supports Cache Coherent connectivity to off-chip accelerators, which is impressive given the extremely low TCO for Ampere Altra.
