ICC Now Supporting the EPYC™ 7003 Series Processors Across Product Lineup.

NORTHBROOK, Illinois – March 15, 2021: International Computer Concepts (ICC), a leading systems integrator of enterprise-level computing solutions, now offers a complete line of standard and customized servers integrated with AMD EPYC™ 7003 Series Processors.

EPYC™ 7003 Series processors, based on the “Zen 3” core architecture, continue to help businesses deliver better time to results, with up to double-digit generational performance gains[i]. ICC focuses heavily on High Performance Computing, High Frequency Trading, GPU, and custom solutions for many use cases in the high performance space. Based on the AMD Infinity Architecture, new EPYC™ 7003 Series processors provide full features and functionality for both one socket and two-socket server options.

“We designed the EPYC™ 7003 Series processors to give our customers exactly what they said they needed, performance across all workloads and the ability to drive more time to value, right out of the box,” said Ram Peddibhotla, corporate vice president, EPYC product management, AMD. “With leadership architecture, performance, and modern security features, EPYC™ 7003 Series processors are a superior choice and continue to drive the standard for the modern data center.”

As part of the product line integrated with AMD EPYC 7003 series processors ICC will be featuring AXISTM servers. The ICC AXISTM servers incorporate custom direct-to-chip (D2C) coolers for dramatic increase in data center density and maximum sustained CPU throughput. D2C cooling loops capture between 60-80% of server heat, which is rejected by the InRackCDU, a warm water-cooling distribution unit capable of removing up to 80kW of heat per rack. “ICC’s custom liquid cooling solution enables high performance AMD EPYC processors in clusters with high interconnect densities, while reducing overall data center cooling costs,” noted ICC’s Director of Development, Alexey Stolyar, “the energy saving and maximized performance is uniquely suited for the HPC environments.”

Liquid cooling can reduce TCO by as much as 40-50% when compared to forced-air cooling. Without need to provision power for fans at maximum speed, system fans run at a minimum and result in a reduced noise profile compared to typical air-cooled servers. The InRackCDU transfers the heat captured by the D2C cooling loops to facilities water in a highly efficient all liquid path. Details of the ICC liquid cooled rack-level AXISTM solution are below.
