AMD EPYC™ 7000 Series CPUs Have Up to 32 “Zen” Cores for Single and Dual Socket Server Deployments
NORTHBROOK, Illinois – July 6, 2017. International Computer Concepts (ICC), a leading systems integrator of enterprise-level computing solutions, today announced the launching of a new line of servers based on the new AMD EPYC™ 7000 series processors. This new CPU platform represents a resurgence of the semiconductor manufacturer and is a truly competitive foundation on which to build this new line of servers.
The new AMD EPYC™ 7000 series of processors offers many features that are beneficial for data center deployments. The CPUs are built with up to 32 cores, eight memory channels with two DIMMs per channel (for a maximum memory capacity of 2TB for a one-socket system and 4TB for a two-socket system), and up to 128 lanes of PCIe 3.0 support. ICC’s new servers based around these processors come in several form factors, including 1U, 2U, and tower servers. Other features include hot-swap NVMe/SAS3/SATA3 drive bays and M.2 slots, 1G through 100G Ethernet support, and redundant Titanium Level digital power supplies.
