How much does a GPU server cost?

Building out a GPU server can be a daunting and expensive process. With GPU servers becoming more and more popular in data center environments as well as use cases continuing to grow in size, pricing out the right GPU server is important.

There are a few things to consider, outside of the raw cost of the hardware, which you should also consider.
  1. Density – within data centers there are important density questions and if you are paying a premium for rackspace and a large power footprint, there are certain things you must consider.
  2. Use cases for GPU – we made a blog post here that helps you understand the right GPU for your use case and the reason NVIDIA launched each GPU.
  3. Power usage – running GPUs can be expensive and understanding your power usage before you purchase the hardware is critical. This can be the difference in $xxx per server per month bills.
  4. Software costs – software can be expensive and the right software/GPU combination is important. Some GPUs only work with some GPU software – getting this right is critical.
With that said, a GPU server, or a private GPU cloud (with the elements listed here of a GPU cloud), can be as cheap as $1000 and run into orders of magnitude larger than that.
We’d be happy to quote out a GPU server for you, with your use cases. Enquire today by using the form below, and one of our expert team will be in touch.
