FIA Expo 2012 Kicks Off!
We're here at the Futures Industry Association's annual Expo at the Hilton Chicago. After a great reception put on by CME Group last night, the main portion of the conference and trade show got underway this morning. Although the opening keynote had to be canceled due to Superstorm Sandy hitting the east coast, everything else has been proceeding smoothly. The lunch keynote is on schedule and conference sessions have been running for the past couple hours.
On the trade show floor we've got a wide variety of different companies working in the financial industry, from futures and brokerage firms to software companies and technology hardware vendors (like ourself!)
At our booth we are demoing two systems: our overclocked Vegaâ„¢ series NovaServâ„¢ R-216i server and a new Arkâ„¢ series storage solution.
